Gamestores in the St. Louis area

Greetings again!
James Elliott offered to drive us up to St Louis/St Charles to save us a bus ride, and to show us a couple gamestores on the way. We saw a couple smaller gamestores, before hitting THE FANTASY SHOP, the hosts for the WMCQ the upcoming weekend. (I will blog about both The Fantasy Shop and WMCQ soon) Each of these stores were pretty cool for smaller stores, but as I see more stores, I become torn on my favorite, SO MANY STORES DOING IT RIGHT!!!

With an amazing selection of comics, decent selection of tabletop games and RPGs, and an ok selection of Magic, I felt that the strong point of this store was the organization. Everything had its place, down to the commons and uncommons. While the prices needed to be updated, and the fetch-stock could use some work, overall this store is worth a visit if you are driving through. The custom tokens were pretty cool, and random roosters were all over the store. (not sure why lol) Plus with a picture of "THE TARDIS", this store gets my thumbs up...if only for that.

 This gamestore, located in the West County Mall, was small in size, but HUGE in personality!! The clerk on duty, Ryan, was more than happy to answer any question, and show us around. This store is deceiving, while I thought it was just a small, family gamestore in the mall, it turns out that there is a gameplay area in the back, hidden where most stores keep the overstock....what a good way to have playspace at a mall location! Hundreds of different games, a great stock of fetch-rares, and a knowledgeable staff, you must stop and check this place out!
